Topic: An intro to Object-Oriented User Experience (OOUX)
Presenter: Mathew Thomas
Date: 20 February
New location alert! Join us for our next UX meetup at Phocas—don’t miss out!
Object-Oriented User Experience is an approach to designing digital interfaces that focuses on tangible objects, their properties and relationships, rather than on pages screens or flows.
OOUX can help you to understand complex projects, avoid scope creep, reduce design and development time, and escape common UI bloopers such as “you can’t get there from here” and “you need to leave before doing that”.
In this talk you’ll get an intro to OOUX, a quick tour of the ORCA process for implementing it, and plenty of examples of frustrating UI and how to avoid them.
